GIRLS
 In 2007 the USGA Girl's Junior Amateur was played at the Tacoma Country & Golf Club July 23-28.  WJGA players who qualified to attend this event were Erynne Lee, Silverdale; Seo Hee Moon, Mukilteo; and Stephanie Corey, Burien.  These girls all qualified at Tacoma C&GC. 

None of the WJGA representatives qualified for match play, but they all enjoyed the great experience of playing in the national championship. 

Next year's prestigious competition for young women will be contested at Hartford Golf Club in West Hartford, Connecticut, July 21-26.

BOYS
 The 2007 USGA Junior Amateur was held from July 23-28 at the Boone Valley Golf Club in Augusta, Missouri.

WJGA members who qualified to attend this championship were Cameron Peck, Olympia; Dylan Goodwin, Mukilteo and Chris Cho, Kent.

At the national tournament both Cameron Peck and Chris Cho qualified for match play. Cameron won one match to reach the round of 32, and Chris Cho won three matches to reach the quarterfinals.

The 2008 Championship will be held from July 21-26 at the Shoal Creek GC in Shoal Creek, Alabama.
