Broadmoor District Tournament Information

TEE TIMES: Actual tee times will be posted on the web site 48 hours before the tournament.  Do not call the course for your tee time.  Volunteer assignments (including walking scorers) will be posted at the same time. 

The first tee time is 8:00 a.m. on both Monday and Tuesday from both the first and the tenth tees.
 

          Tee Assignments:

                   Boys 14-17             Black Tees

                   Boys 12-13             Blue Tees

                   Girls 14-17             White Tees

                   Girls 12-13             Green Tees

                   All 8-11                 Green Tees

NOTE:  WE ARE AT BROADMOOR AS GUESTS OF THE COURSE.  ONLY BROADMOOR MEMBERS MAY USE THE PRACTICE AREAS AFTER THE COMPLETION OF PLAY ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY.  WJGA competitors who are Broadmoor members are not allowed to play the course between rounds per USGA rules.

DRIVING RANGE:  Open by 7:00 a.m.  Balls are provided free of charge. 

DRESS CODE:  The WJGA dress code will be strictly enforced.  PLEASE REVIEW IT.  PLAYERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TEE OFF IF THEY ARE NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE WJGA DRESS CODE. 

GALLERY:   THE GALLERY and VOLUNTEERS MUST ALSO ABIDE BY THE WJGA DRESS CODE.  NO DENIM OR TANK TOPS.  You will be asked to leave the course if not dressed in compliance with the dress code.

ARRIVAL TIME:  Please allow plenty of time to get to the course.  You must have registered and be seated in the Staging Area 15 minutes prior to your tee time on the first day.  There will not be a staging area on Tuesday.  Please be aware of the time and go to your tee 10 minutes prior to your tee time.  Walking scorers must report at least 30 minutes before their assigned tee time.

SNACKS:     The snack shop behind the 10th tee will open at 9:00 AM each day. 

STATE QUALIFIERS:  If you qualify for the state tournament, you must complete your entry form and pay the entry fee before you leave Broadmoor on Tuesday.  If you know that you are unable to play at state, please let Janet Benson know as soon as possible.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS!!

From Seattle

Take I-5 to the 520 exit (east to Bellevue). Take first exit off 520 (Montlake, UW). Go
straight through intersection onto Lake Washington Blvd for ¾ mile. Turn left onto
Foster Island Road (100 ft. beyond 3-way stop). Take the second right off Foster Island
Rd. at the Broadmoor guardhouse, a small brick building on the right about ¼ mile. This
is the back entrance to the Broadmoor Community.

From downtown Seattle

Take Madison Avenue East past 23rd Street and you will see the
front gate of the Broadmoor Community on the left. There are prominent arches and a
Security guardhouse. Once inside the community, follow the yellow line on the road,
going slowly through the Broadmoor community until you see the Golf Club on the right.

From Bellevue and Eastside

Take 520 Westbound to Lake Washington Blvd. At 3-way stop, turn onto Lake
Washington Blvd. Stay in the center lane and take the left turn onto Foster Island Rd.
Take second right off Foster Island Rd at the Broadmoor guardhouse, a small brick
building on the right at about ¼ mile.
