District Three

Welcome to the WJGA 2013 Season!

This is an exciting year for District Three. I have taken the role of Director after spending the last few years as co-director. My wife, Jennifer Milbourn, who has worked within the state office for the past six years, has taken on the additional role of co-Director. We are looking forward to a great golf season with all of you!

Also, this year District Three is hosting the WJGA State Championship. We would like to thank those volunteers who have taken the reigns on many of the responsibilities to help make this a great State tournament. As we all know, this golf program wouldn’t be the success it is without the help of our volunteers. Please let us know if you would like to get involved in helping with the upcoming State Championship…when it comes to volunteers – the more the merrier!

Some reminders for the upcoming season:

WALKING SCORERS: ALL players ages 8-13 will need to have a volunteer walking scorer for at least two tournaments. Please make sure when registering to pick tournaments that you know you will be available to help at. If you are unable to fulfill your assignment, it is your responsibility to find a replacement. Please know you will not be walking in your child’s group and you do not make any rulings – you will be provided a radio to contact a rules official.

DRESS CODE: This is something that comes up each year. We don’t want to be on shorts/skirt length, tucked shirts, and etc. police and ask that you all just come out to the course in clothing that follows the WJGA dress code policy. WJGA Code of Conduct

TEE TIMES: Tee times will be posted no later than 48-hours prior to a tournament. Please make sure to check for your scheduled time and be to the course at least 30 minutes prior to your tee time for check in. ALSO – make sure to familiarize yourself with the No Show/Withdraw policy. No Show Policy.
