Welcome to all our new players to the D3 WJGA roster...also, a welcome back to all you veteran players and families.  I am beginning to put together my volunteer list for the 2008 season.  As many of you know, it takes many volunteers to help each tournament run smoothly.  Right now, I am seeking a group of about 8 people that I can train to run the scoreboards this year and rotate this core group of people around for the different tournaments.  Especially if you are at the tournament site and do not plan on leaving or following your son or daughter, I can sure use the help.  Please e-mail be at 13dawgs@hctc.com to let me know if you are interested in being on the scoreboard volunteer list.  If there are any other positions you would like to donate your time for, you can sure let me know that information too.  I am very excited about this season and am looking forward to seeing the players and families this summer.  Until then, practice that short game!

Welcome to WJGA district 3 for the 2008 season.  As your director, I am looking forward to a fun, competitive season for our junior golfers.  Our tournament schedule is done and ready with some great golf courses for all of us to enjoy.  But before the season begins, I just want to ask a couple of things of each golfer and family.  First of all, I believe in preventative officiating so before registering, I encourage you to look through the scoring guidelines and tournament information to understand the WJGA tournament guidelines, dress code, entry process and withdrawal procedures. 

Also, check and double check your summer schedule to make sure you have the tournament dates open.  Things just run so smooth when families involved in the WJGA understand the program.
