The WJL Cup was a huge success on Memorial Day weekend at Hawks Prairie Links and Woodlands courses.

The WJL Cup Matches featured the top 16 points girls from the 2020 points list going head to head in a Curtis Cup style match play competition.

The sixteen girls split into teams of 8 each (blue team and red team) this year will be on the blue team, Lauryn Nguyen, Hannah Elaimy, Grace Lee, Gigi Lund, Suzie Tran, Jillian Hui, Makena Mehlert, Brooke Gelinas.  On the red team, Gihoe Seo, Kennedy Knox, Anastacia Johnson, Angela Park,. Wenna Zhang, Una Johnson, Morgan Lee and Claire Xu.  The teams will be captained by two of WJGA founder Joan Teats’ daughters, Chris & Patty Curtiss.  Red Team wins this fun competition and will have bragging rites for 1 month.

Thank you incredible support team (rules officials, volunteers), Hawks Prairie staff and mother nature for giving us the greatest weather one could ask for!
