District 4 – Welcome!

Welcome to WJGA District 4!

I encourage those that are available, to participate in the state open events.  These are very instrumental in the older players getting points for the WJGA teams and player of the year.  Also this year are the new one-day, 18-hole “Jr” open events for 8-13 year old players.  There are three of these statewide. Please see information under the tournament tab.  This event will be open for registration March 1, 2024 at 9:00am!

It’s going to be a great season!

Please remember to READ the code of conduct and policies posted by WJGA and do your best to teach each other why golf is a ladies and gentleman’s sport.   Also, remember that we do our best to get the yardage as close as possible to the age group requirements.  We will only be able to adjust so far due to space.  Please keep this in mind as you plan and remember that everyone will still be teeing off from the same spot.  Yardages and tee boxes will be posted as soon as we get them.  Feel free to call me if you don’t see them online and I will call my official.  We do our best to accommodate your busy schedules.  This should be a fun experience while you are competing at your best.

As always, please sign up to volunteer at events that you think you will be able to.  I use the list from registration to make my volunteer assignments and sometimes I miss those wanting or able to help and over assign others because people did not sign up.  Also, if you sign up to volunteer and are unable to participate (other than walking scorer which is required), I would appreciate an email when you know and I will adjust accordingly.  This is very helpful to me in scheduling the tournaments as I work full time just like all the other parents. 🙂 You guys are amazing, I’m so glad to be part of WJGA District 4!
